I am agree on that women are in very crustal condition, media is responsible a bit but government is more responsible, there are laws for women but nobody care about them specially police and courts, it is more hard to get justice, it is horrible to go to the police as they are more dangerous and always support powerful men and never cares about women. Govt. make laws but never bother to implement of that laws. If we read our laws which are quite smiler to western countries’s laws but the difference is lake of piratical and implement.

I feel ur tittle is wrong,it has 2 b like VIOLENCE IN SOME PARTS OF PAKISTAN.It can b curb by EDUCATION AND JUSTICE.If u see who all r involved in it u will find the neglected lott of the country.where there is education things r different.

The media is only a refection of our society, the media is not going to change unless society changes as well.

But we must not forget the internet. The internet gives ordinary people like you and me, the power to put out our views and opinions to the whole world. Already young people are taking more notice of what they see on the internet than in the mainstream media. So it up to people like us to make use of the power of the internet to say to all people that domestic violence is unacceptable.

you are right , right now media is not doing what it is supposed to do, what some one has to emphases the need on what media should do, someone, somewhere has to take intinative or , as it where, to awaken the media world of thier responsiblity, and that is what we intend to do, we may not be ab;e tp shake tRockes what at first a little movement in right direction would do,

You can’t do it, unless the Gov reforms the education system and teaches the populace the rights of Women. Moreover, women themselves need to know their rights.

Muslim women espacially should know what rights Islam has granted them so that they can stand up to this plague in our society.

But both sides are ignorant so media won’t change anything. After all Geo, ARY, Indus, and Indian channels are showing women, progressive women!!!!!!
