The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAoC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) are organizing a youth produced video festival called Plural+ addressing the challenges of diversity and integration, as well as denouncing injustices while proposing their own original and creative solutions to create inclusive societies.
The goal of PLURAL+ is to ensure youth engagement in these important issues both at local and global levels by making their videos available through a variety of media platforms and distribution networks including broadcasts, festivals conferences and events around the world.
This year, we had the pleasure to receive 145 videos coming from 49 countries all over the world representing youth from five continents acting for a better world. Indeed, Plural + video festival is a fantastic way to raise awareness on many issues affecting communities’ worldwide.
What do you think about that? Are media a tool for young people to spread their words and wishes? Do you think they can make a change? Check our website and give us your feelings about our initiative!!
We the youth always have a power to say within our self. But someone needs to induce the mind of the young people. Thats the way the media acts with its role. Now see the impact of social media and how its reflects the opinions of youth from different parts of the world .Thanks for hosting such a wonderful contest which helped us to raise our voice
I would like to learn more on how best we can engane the youth more and more

Yes, media makes a difference. Because most of what we know, most of our perceptions, most of our knowledge, is actually filtered through media representations of the world. What we understand as the truth, is, most of the times, a media construction, a representation. But media needs distribution, needs to be seen. And that's the + of PLURAL+. It's not just a festival, it's a platform for the distribution of youth voices on these relevant and very pressing issues.
