Alexandra has extensive experience working with a wide range of media, including print, radio and television. She co-founded in 2002 Journalists for Human Rights an international organization which raises awareness about human rights issues in Africa through local media. Alexandra has also worked for the BBC World Service and for the United Nations' radio station in Sudan. In 2006, thanks to a Global Youth Fellowship, she directed and produced a documentary film on gold mining and human rights in Ghana. Alexandra is directing a second documentary film featuring Sudanese youth from different backgrounds ahead of South Sudan's referendum on self-determination.
